Berrios, Mitch named Cap 8 Co-Players of the Year

The Cap 8 Conference released the all-conference football teams this week, following Leesville Road's loss to Garner in the third round.

Leesville Road quarterback Austin Berrios and Wakefield quarterback Connor Mitch were named the Co-Players of the Year for the Cap 8. Millbrook running back Keith Marshall was named the league's Offensive Player of the Year.

On defense, Wake Forest-Rolesville lineman Evan Duke and Broughton linebacker Drew Davis were named the Co-Defensive Players of the Year. Leesville Road athlete Braxton Berrios and Wake Forest-Rolesville kicker Drew Alvarez were named Co-SpecialTeams Players of the Year.Pride
